I am very new to knitting. Is there somewhere you would recommend I could go online to watch a good solid knitting tutorial, to get me started to understand stitches and the terms you use here? There are so many out there, and I want to learn from one that uses a good technique that will help me follow patterns.

It wood be nice to have a print friendly version with out all the printed comments and extra photos just wastes to much paper in printing. You can choose to either print or leave out the photos:. These little leaves are so sweet and just what I was looking for to embellish a baby hat. Thank you! I started making some of these leaves about 2 years ago and after modifying the pattern a bit made some branches for an art exhibition in Auckland NZ where I live, which led to making many more branches for another — in Poland.
